If you want the most accurate freight quote possible, you have to accurately classify your shipment – and a shipment’s density may be one of the factors that determine your freight rate. Many commodities are assigned just one class, but for some commodities the class depends on the shipment’s density.

Look Before You Sign!

There are drivers who will go the extra mile just to be helpful, but most of the time you get what you pay for – and when drivers provide these type of services, their freight companies expect to be paid for them. And you guessed it – these charges are going to be on someone’s freight bill!
